  16.           --  Changed the format of the Batch File Status window to a more
  17.               formatted display.

  22.           --  Fixed bug when a Single File Transfer was taking place and
  23.               the file to be downloaded was NOT in a ZIP format the cursor
  24.               positioning was incorrect and would add linefeeds thus making
  25.               the Status Window un-readable.

  27.           --  On some systems it has been reported that the screen writes
  28.               get all messed up. This is not a problem in AdLogo, but the
  29.               way DOS handles it's info when output is redirected to NUL.
  30.               To fix this problem, simply change the LOCK LINES settings
  31.               in PCBSetup, File Locatations #2, Protocol Data File for all
  32.               the external protocol that you have AdLogo install in to 'N'.

  34.           --  Added a file to the archive called BATCH.PMT.  This is a file
  35.               that you can have echoed to the user online right before
  36.               PCBoard shell's out to the external protocol. This file
  37.               contains PCBoard's @X color codes that simply states that the
  38.               batch mode file transfer may take upto 1 minute before
  39.               starting.  To add this in to PCBoard, change to your direcory
  40.               that contains the file PCBTEXT (usually C:\PCB\GEN) and
  41.               execute MKTXT145 as follows:

  43.               C:\PCB\GEN\> MKTXT145 PCBTEXT <enter>
  44.  
  45.                    Press <F3> and then enter the number 496 <enter>
  46.                    Change that line to %<DRIVE><PATH>BATCH.PMT
  47.                        Where <DRIVE> is the drive letter where you had
  48.                        placed the file BATCH.PMT and <PATH> is the DOS
  49.                        path to the file.
  50.                    (ie: You placed the file BATCH.PMT into you C:\PCB\GEN
  51.                         directory, the line would look like this:

  53.                         %C:\PCB\GEN\BATCH.PMT
  54.  
  55.                    Press <ESC> to save the changes made.
  56.  
  57.                    NOTE: If you have PCBoard load the PCBTEXT file (set via
  58.                    PCBSetup, Options #1), you will need to cycle PCBoard one
  59.                    time before the changes will take effect.

  61.           --  Well, we're gonna let this version fly for a while.. Want to
  62.               get working on the code that will echo to user online what
  63.               you as the Sysop will see in the File Status Window so that
  64.               the user will know what is going on and why the transfer
  65.               hasn't started within 5 seconds.

  67.           --  Just to keep you up-to-date on what our future additions list
  68.               is adding support for .ARJ format, and for those boards that
  69.               are big into .GIFs, adding support for adding your ad to a
  70.               .GIF file(s) before sending!  Please report any bugs, problems
  71.               or incompatablilty problems that you incountering. Would like
  72.               to set March 1st, 1992 as the release date of the official
  73.               release of AdLogo v1.0.

  75.           --  Also in the process of adding code to ADLSETUP that will
  76.               automatically create the TEMP directories for all nodes.
  77.               This may not be a problem to most Sysops, having to manually
  78.               create a TEMP directory for each node, however for those that
  79.               are running systems bigger than 10 nodes, this could really
  80.               be hard on the 'ol fingures! <grin>

  86.                             AdLogo v1.5ß Enhanced Version
  87.           --  Fixed bug that would incorrectly read the passcode from the
  88.               ADLOGO.CFG file.

  90.           --  Changed format of ADLOGO.CFG file. Line 3 USED to be the
  91.               PassCode line. PassCode line is NOW LINE 8 and all others
  92.               move up one. (ie Line 4 is now Line 3, etc...)

  94.           --  Now packaged in the archive file is a utility called
  95.               ADLSETUP.EXE.  This simple util will create the ADLOGO.CFG
  96.               file automatically.  Simply run this util in the directory
  97.               you want your ADLOGO.CFG file to be placed in. ADLOGO.CFG
  98.               can still be edited with a text editor, but created ADLSETUP
  99.               to follow the new .CFG file format stated above.

  101.           --  Enahanced Version!  Completely re-wrote the code for the screen
  102.               output.  All screen writes are done via the Video BIOS. No
  103.               DIRECT screen writes are in the code.  Using the BIOS, there
  104.               should be no problems with 'bleed-through' for those running
  105.               under multi-tasking enviroments such as DESQview, DoubleDOS,
  106.               etc...

  108.           --  Just for your information, AdLogo is currently being tested on
  109.               a 386sx-16mhz running under DESQview v2.41 with QEMM v6.01
  110.               (stealth enabled, mapping mode) for a 3 node PCBoard v14.5a/E3
  111.               system and a 386-16mhz running under LANtastic with PCBoard
  112.               14.5a/E3 for a two node system (Node 2 is an 8088).

  119.           --  AdLogo now reads the permenent parameters from a configuration
  120.               file.  New Syntax for AdLogo is:

  124.                      <CFGFILE> is the full pathlist and name of AdLogo's
  125.                      configuration file. (ie: C:\PCB\ADLOGO.CFG)

  131.                      Line 1 - Your Name (32 chars max)
  132.                      Line 2 - Serial #  (00000 if UNREGISTERED)

  135.                      Line 5 - TEMP directory
  136.                      Line 6 - FULL Path & Filename of ZipComment (BBS LOGO)

  142.               The .CFG file is a simple TEXT file that can be created/edited
  143.               with a normal text editor such as QEdit.

  171.               Problem encountered when running under certain enviroments
  172.               DSZ was unable to locate ADLOGO.LST by the setup stated
  173.               in the docs. Must add a SET DRIVE=n in each BOARD.BAT file
  174.               where 'n' is the drive for that node. (ie: SET DRIVE=C:)

  176.           --  TMC Software Development and OTS Development Corp. are
  177.               working together to bring you AdLogo and future creations by
  178.               TMS Software Development. All files in ADLG???.ZIP will now
  179.               have the -AV Authenticity Verified code next to them, and
  180.               OTS Development Authenticity Verified statement at end of
  181.               the .ZIP file. If ANY file(s) do not have the -AV next to them,
  182.               DO NOT use any of the files in the archive and please report
  183.               such cases to any of the Support Boards listed in the manual
  184.               or call voice support between the hours of 8:00am-7:00pm,
